Subject: keyboard problems and the MCC package?
Date: 28 Jul 1993 17:00:15 -0400

Hi all,
I just recently installed the latest MCC linux package off of sunsite and
have a couple of questions. The kernal is 99.pl10 and everything seems to
run fine except for the key board keys seem to be off a little. When I try to
type a pipe I get the character '~'. Other characters obtained by using the
shift key are also skewed. It seems to be using a keymapping other than US.
Is there a setting somewhere for the keymap? Is there a setting when you
compile the kernal? I've looked but haven't found any keyboard settings
in the kernal source.

Thanks for any responses,
    Jeff Evans
