Hello,
I thought I would post this info in case someone else with an IN-2000 scsi
controller is having similar problems. Until recently, I have been completely
unable to install linux on my home PC (w/ in2000). I decided to purchase the
enhancement kit and now it works great!
The current version available for the controller is VCN-1.03. If you have
something previous and are unable to get linux to do simple things (like
mke2fs), you might consider upgrading. The cost is about $40.
