Someone posted an article asking about MANPATH the other day (yesterday?)

Someone else replied saying "edit /usr/mumble/manpath.config"

I tried that, but still manpath returns invalid directories and
does not add X386 man pages.

It does add /usr/openwin/man and /man, neither of which exist. The man page
for manpage claims that it looks at your PATH and adds the places which have
a 'man' or 'MAN' subdirectory. It's defeintly not doing this on my machine.

I kinda solved the X386 man problem by making a symbolic link to /man,
but that's obviously a hack.

any idea what happening here?
