I read in the FAQ's that to change the default video mode for startup
that you type
rdev -v /dev/fd0 {video mode)
or
rdev -v /zImage -3
(actually it said rdev -v /Image -3 but I interpolated)3
to get the boot disk to prompt for video mode.
Well, I didn't know the name of my video mode so I did that latter
first on my installation disk (I couldn't read the squint-o-vision)
so I could find the options. Then I did the former to change the default
video mode to 80x25. Everything worked fine. Now I want to get rid
of the annoying prompt I got by typing
rdev -v /zImage -3
I don't want to be getting that prompt every time I boot up when I
install Linux
