Subject: [HELP] System hang!
Date: Wed, 21 Jul 1993 18:15:57 GMT

Hi, folks,

I have my linux work for a very long time. But I always have a problem
to compile, or say make, a not very huge program under any kind of window
manager, such as twm, olwm, olvwm.

My system hangs whenever I try to make under Window Manager. I can feel
the hard drive works very hardly, but no progress. If I quit from
Window Manager, the make performance is really nice. So I just wonder if
I can correct my problem by adding memory or increasing my hard disk
space for swapping. (I am using 486-33 with 8MB DRAMs, and 100MB HD
partition.) Or it's a kinda bug existing in the system......
