Drivers exist, but they're kernel patches. You can't install from it
unless someone else (note the absence of a volunteer, sorry) can build you
a new A1 disk with the appropriate patches made. Though the author has
some reservations about the stability of the release, it should more than
suffice for normal usage.

I recently installed these patches (well, patches and BLK_DRV's) on my
99.10 system, and it worked for as long as I had it on (it conflicts with
the sound routines for the SB, so away it went; I'll probably keep two
kernel imges about in case I need the CD-ROM back).
