        GNU SmallTalk has no GUI to drag along, and for the most part you could
create "stand alone" programs, though they would be HUGE do to including lots
of classes you didn't use, along with the interpreter. I guess it is debateable
whether GNU SmallTalk is a "full implementation" or not (especially if you
like/depend on the "standard" SmallTalk GUI).

        Yes, but I just learned of something I had not heard of, so this was
not a total waste of time. :-)
