Subject: TERM binaries for SCO Unix?
Date: Mon, 12 Jul 1993 17:04:05 GMT

Does anyone have binaries of TERM for SCO Unix? I uploaded the source
to TERM that came with SLS 1.02 onto my SCO box at work, but I don't have the
TCP/IP developers pack (under SCO Unix) so I can't do anything with the calls
to functions like "gethostbyname" etc. that are in TERM.
TERM looks like it would do EXACTLY what I need (allowing me to set
up multiple sessions from home), so I would really appreciate it if someone
could point me in the right direction.
Also, can SLIP do the same thing as TERM? I do have TCP/IP & NFS
installed on the SCO Unix machine, so slip is available (but I think it makes
me dedicate a serial port on the machine to SLIP, and it only likes one host
per port, which is why TERM looked so good). If so, could someone tell me
what to do (under Linux) to be able to get SLIP to let me call the machine at
work, make a connection, and then get multiple shells running?
