Subject: [Q]KERNEL: what are the diff devs since pl4?
Date: 11 Jul 1993 17:07:27 GMT

Hi-

I posted about this a couple of days ago, but I didn't get the answer
that I needed, so I thought of an alternate solution: could someone
post a new /dev/MAKEDEV (or put it somewhere where it could be ftp'd)
script from SLS with kernel pl10 or pl11. I am trying to upgrade from
pl4 and I know that the device names have changed somewhat since then
(it seems like only yesterday that I installed it <sigh> :-)

I would also like to suggest (though, I am not in a position to offer
doing it myself) that the current version of the SLS fs tree be opened
for FTP. I am a 386BSD convert and was spoiled by this practice in
that camp. That would also make it (a little) simpler for some people
like myself to see what is different between what we originally
installed and the current release.
