A few days ago, I had XFree86, mono Version 1.3, running on a 16MHz 386SX
with 2MB of RAM. I used a full-blown, TCP/IP included kernel, a not
handtailored executable of X and bash instead of ksh as my shell. It was
slow, and you could almost watch it swapping, but it worked. If I tried all
the memory savingsmentioned above, I might even get a reasonable performance
out of the thing..... Though of course my 8MB 486/33 is faster :-)
