   I am having trouble getting slip to work with net-010. I think that
problem is with route -- it wants to use IFace "lo" instead of "sl0". I have
tried manually starting slip as follows (as suggested in a previous post)
/etc/ifconfig sl0 128.174.22.247 netmask 255.255.254.0 pointopoint 128.174.22.1
/etc/route add default sl0 128.174.22.247 gw 128.174.22.1
the default route was still using Iface "lo". Is this a bug in the route
program? If so, is there a patch somewhere?
