Hi,
 
if you installed your Linux system from the SLS disks, get the X1 disk
and do a 'sysinstall -disk' for this one.
You'll be asked if you want to install the several packages.
Figure out which package you need for the Xlibs and unpack it
(I think it's X11base.tgz or something like this).
If you only want to run GhostScript w/o X11 you can remove everything
in /usr/X386 after you have installed the X libs. GhostScript and
Gnuplot should work, now.
