I am going to install Linux within the week, before I do I have some
VERY important questions I need answers for....
1) What is the official distribution site for linux, I seem to have lost
it.... I'll also pick up the FAQ there (if not please tell me where the
FAQ is.....) if anything I ask here is in the FAQ I appoligize
2) CAN/HOW does one get Linux to see/use/install on hard drives on a
secondary MFM controller, (with the primary being IDE) dos needs a
driver to see these drive(s), the (probably) old linux boot disks I have
don't find these hard drives right off the bat....
3) Can/How does one backup up a linux hard drive to a qic-80 tape drive
OR can you make an "image" of it's partition somehow onto a fat drive?
4) Is there any kind of HPFS driver?
5) Does the faq or some other source containe a DETAILED overview of
TERM, aka could NNTP work over a term link? etc.....
