Well, to partially agree and partially disagree with what the net
has said so far, it really does matter on the motherboard. We've got
a DX33 here that with 60ns ram runs at 0 wait states, and the
performance increase is noticable, though not incredible. On the
other hand, we've got another motherboard that can't tell the
difference, and won't let us override the wait states, so it gains
nothing. All things considered, I'd go for 60 ns, but that's because I
like to tinker with the system to see just how far I can push it.
If it doesn't save you a wait state, then it will at least ensure that
the system shouldn't have the marginal memory problems that some
people have reported here.
