On the whole the system you outlined shoud work quite well. I (my opinion
only) would suggest going to 12 or 16 meg of ram, a second hard drive(if
you start downloading a lot of nice stuff... another 120 mg would work)
and last but _not_ least, get rid of the Diamond video card if your going
to use X. On that point I must stand firm. Yes, there are programs that
_sorta_ make it work, but you will have _far_ less hassles if you get
something else. A good choice is a SVGA card with a GD5426 chip on it
used with XFree86 1.3.
Be warned! These are only _MY_ opinions and may draw flames (Oh well, I'll
survive...I think :) ).
