Hello,
I have waited patiently for someone to have a simmilar problem as I
to keep from being redundant, but so far, I haven't seen any.
I have a HP 386/25 with 16MEG and a 1542B controller, 400 meg
HP drive.
I can boot up my a1 drive on a IDE system, on a system with
a 17series adaptec, a system with a standard controller.
on the first system, the floppy doesn't boot at all!
(go figure) no messages, no nothing, the floppy turns a sec,
then the whole thing locks up.
I have installed the linux on another system, but would really
like to see it on the above system too.
