This seems to be a random thing. My Syquest will frequently
recognise a disk even if it is not in it on bootup. Also, sometimes
ejecting and restarting the disk will make it be recognised. This also
happens with the adaptec driver under dos.

Why have more than one partition on a 44 meg disk under linux. ;-)
