Hmmmm... Someone implying that SunOS 4.x was "stable"?
<chuckle> Sorry, I couldn't resist. I feel fairly confident in saying
that Linux is most likely just as stable and robust as any other comerical
OS was, when it was in Beta testing. Remember, Linux is still Pre-1.0...
That means the authors do not feel it is yet stable enough to call a
production release.
After enjoying SunOS's 4.0.x releases, I shudder to think what it might
have been like at 0.99.10!
