Hello linuxers,

I've recently bought an Adaptec 1542C SCSI host adapter. It runs without
problems under linux if I disable its BIOS. But I need to enable it again
every time I need to boot MSDOS. If I boot linux with that BIOS enabled, it
gives me sort of an "host detected, but no mail" error.
Since I'm not very happy with an open box, steadily switching the DIP switches
on the adaptec card every time i change the OS, I'd like to know how to fix
that or if it's possible.
