    I've just finished installing Linux on my PC (Gateway 386/33, 4M RAM,
VGA monitor with a Diamond Speedstar board), and I have a couple of
questions.

1) It seems that something went wrong with the configuring of my mouse.
   When I try to execute X I get an error saying it can't find the
   mouse. The mouse is a regular old microsoft mouse and is on com 2.
   I included in my Xconfig Microsoft /dev/ttyS1. Am I doing something
   wrong...or is there something I forgot to do.

2) Also when trying to execute X I get Fatal server error: Failed to
   initialize core devices, and it bombs out. What do I do with this...;)?

3) I've read through the FAQ and browsed this newsgroup and know about
   Diamond cards not being supported. Has anyone gotten X to work with
   a "VGA" Diamond card and if so what do I need to do?

I would appreciate ANY HELP...thanks much ...;->!
