Subject: Problem with 132x43 mode on Diamond SS24X

I am using a Diamond Speedstar 24X (yes, I know, but I can't help it)
video card with Linux 0.99pl10 (but I saw the problem with earlier
versions of Linux as well). I prefer 132x43 line mode, and it works,
except that there is a 44th line that contains whatever scrolled off
the screen a few lines earlier (and thus continuously changes). While
this is not a serious problem, it is VERY annoying. Is there a fix for
this problem? Has anyone else seen it?
