Does anyone know if it's possible to change the partitions on my disk without
destroying my data. i am running SLS release of Linux on a seagate 212 meg driveand I want to increase the space if my Linux partition so I can install X on it.
I know linux's fdisk program allows me to chage beginning and ending cylinders.
Is this a possible way?

ps: Thanks to all the kind people who responed to my help message last week
about hosing my /etc/passwd. :)

        -thanks,
        -dave
