Subject: Ancient WD8013EBT card with NET-2

I have an ancient western digital ethernet card. It worked fine
with NET-1. In NET-2 I don't get any packets out, and I periodically
see messages saying "bogus packet size..." followed by "bogus packet, ...".

The card works a bit. For example if I disconnect the thin wire I get
TX errors till I put it back (if I'm trying to connect to something).

I tried to change the shared memory address from CC000 to C4000. The later
is a number mentioned in the ethernet card's manual. This changed the
sizes and other data in the "bogus packet" messages. This suggests that
when a packet comes in the software looks in the wrong place for data.

Needless to say my board is so old that wdsetup can't get any info about it.
I wonder if the new software depends on those capabilities of newer WD boards.

Any info/help would be appreciated.
