Subject: SMAIL woes! HELP!
Date: 1 Jul 1993 20:21:51 CST

First off, let me start off by singing the praises of SLS 1.01. I finally
got it all installed and (more or less) configured. All in all, it
seems to be working fine, even the net stuff. :-)

The only real problem is, I seem to be having some problems with smail.

After setting it all up, and even installing PINE, I got it to going with the
-db option, which enabled SMTP. I can telnet to the SMTP port, and manually
make a message, and it gets delivered fine.

Hoever, when sending mail to the box, I get a infinite loop error.
(too many hops.) I seem to be able to send mail fine. Its just that
getting mail delivered seems to be a real problem.

I even got the source, and installed binmail as /bin/mail (using the make
and make install) but I still get the same error.

Help!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks in advance!

Joe.
