Subject: linux .99pl8-3 telnet hangs problem

I have read all the FAQs I can find and I still have this problem.

I am running a SMC Elite 16 card in a VLB 486/33. When I telnet from another box I find
the session hangs after a little while and does not respond further. I can open several
further sessions but they end up the same way.

Everything else appears fine.

Please advise.
