The advantage of flexfax is that it supports class 1 modems, which is the only
type of modem I have. The latest version is sgi/fax/v2.2beta008.src.tar.Z,
and I've just finished patches for running this under linux 99p9/10. All the
neccessary tools (ghostscript, gcc, etc) are supplied with the stock SLS
distribution, and flexfax compiles pretty much out of the box (needs a couple
of kernel bugfixes, tho, which are supplied). The patches should be included
in the next distribution (if Sam thinks they're worthwhile).
