Can someone give me a hand? I downloaded xvtdl from sunsite and
the X version (xvtdl) binary dumps core with a segmentation
violation. I tried compiling it from scratch (the generic
X11 version, not the customized linux version because I couldn't find
any patched sources for that) and had several problems. One was
it wanted to link a library that Linux didn't know about (-ll) and
when I took that out it complained about a whole bunch of unresolved
references (things like calendar and xv_get) that I couldn't locate
with nm. Also some of the libraries dump core when you try
to run nm on them (the bigger ones) FYI whomever may be supporting
nm.

thanks in advance,
