If you are satisfied with 386bsd there is no reason to swap (except curiosity,
of course).
If you are not, try to identify what you consider unsatisfactory. Question of
the type 'is this or that available for linux' can then easily be answered.

Which one? If it is a SCSI drive linux will read ISO-whatever-the-number-is
format CDs.
