: You would be surprised how easy it can all be if you have the

Kinda funny since I used the clock frequencies in my no-name's book and
derived some values for my Nanao Flexscan 8060S (a $50 "used EGA monitor")
and it works fine. Yes, my card's manual has clock frequencies spelled
out in it! The card's name is "VGA 2theMax". I have found that the
frequencies in the vga.dbase (exact filename and path I can't remember)
for this card to be wrong. I entered the values straight from the book
and it works like a charm. Basically, I'm doin' X and luvvin' it!
Once I get a manual for this tube, I'm going to derive correct values for
horizontal and vertical timings.
vga.dbase file (I can't remember the exact name of that file) I have found
to be wrong.
