Tx, Ed, uucico is working now. A few notes for others who may be installing
SLS- sample Systems and Permissions files are in /usr/lib/uucp but you must
write a Dialers file; the Nutshell book is essential here. That made uucico
dial, but not transfer the waiting files in /usr/spool/uucp. I didn't realize
that ls wouldn't show . directories, so didn't see the .Log at first.

What finally makes it work is to edit the config and paths files in
/usr/local/lib/smail. I guess that uucico calls smail to handle the transfer?

My next question concerns menu, which is broken in several places, the man
handling and install routines. I have a3/menus.tpz from Jan 18 and a4/menus
.tpz from Jan 20. Do I need a new menus.tpz? If I ftp menus, will sysinstall
replace the current and broken menus?

Tx,
Timothy.
