Hm. Perhaps this would work. I wonder if any other newgroups have tried a more
aggressive approach:
If someone asks "Please send me the FAQ" or "I don't know if this is in the
FAQ or not, so I'll just ask..." and such questions, they get bombarded with
direct Email messages from hundreds (thousands) or irate readers, to
discourage such postings.
