Hello.

I truly apologize for wasting time and space here, but I'm just
finding out about Linux and am VERY interested in getting going
with it.

I've flipped through various FAQ and installation guides on the
different archive sites but am still sort of confused about how
to proceed (I understand a new version of Linux just came out?).

If anyone out there would be willing to give me some direction
about how to get Linux (i.e. which version, etc.) up and running,
I would GREATLY appreciate it!

I reasonably well versed in Unix and DOS and don't think it is
beyond me to do this. I just don't want to make a wrong move.

I have a 33MHz 80386 w/ a 200MB IDE drive, and a Diamond SpeedStar
card.

I am interested in getting as many features of Linux as possible.

Thanks in advance,

Brian
