I had a very good first impression with linux.

Just before installing linux on another machine :

- does it support well EISA bus, Adaptec 1740 (in 1540 emulation mode
or native mode ?)
- does it support large disks (1.6 Gb) ?
- does it support Exabyte tapes ?

Can I use linux for a server (PC 486/dx2-66) with reasonable fiability ?
