To whom it may concern:

I saw the follow question several times recently:

        I use SLS 0.99.2. I noticed that I can't use ps because
        the proc device is not mounted.
        How cat I fix this problem?

It is a faq, but it does not appear in the current Linux faq.
I got the same problem, too. It turned out that I commented out
the line:
        none /proc proc defaults
in the /etc/fstab by mistake.

        Would you please add it to the Linux FAQ list and
the manual pages of "ps", "free", "uptime" etc. ?
(I think these are two sources that people would look at
first when they get the error message).
