   I recently got the new Cabletron ethernet drivers installed in a new
kernel (0.99pl4) only to find that telnet aborts claiming that it
can't find 'libc.2.2.2' in /lib. Well, I agree. I can't find it either.
I assume this one of the many incarnations of the standard C library
already on my system. If so, which one does it refer (and should be
linked) to? If not, where can I acquire it?

  Second question: after getting .99pl4 to work, emacs decided to stop.
It exits with an 'IOT Trap' error after drawing the editor screen. Do
I need a new emacs to go with the new kernel?
