Normally, I run with just a 4MB swap partition. Since I only have 4MB of
physical memory, I occassionally need more for a big compile (xfishtank
stopped growing at over 9MB last night). If I set up a swap file in
addition to a swap partition, will linux prefer one or the other or will
it consider them both equal? I'm afraid of things getting slowed down
after the compile is over if linux starts using the slower swap file
instead of the faster swap partition.
