Almost all of these problems have been fixed already.

I do. You are that group :-). Seriously, when I announce an upgrade, I
expect people to respect it and wait a week unless you are intrepid
(or just a good samaritan).
But, I want to get a new machine with a bigger disk, so I can do what I
used to do: completely install on a new partition, and make that
my new main partition. Maybe in next week or two...
As for a seperate test group: how do you do that with 40 Meg of data?
Not to many internet sites willing to sport that (except Ted of course).
