From: pmacdona@sanjuan (Peter MacDonald) Subject: SLS update: libm.a and tcpip Date: Thu, 21 Jan 1993 04:39:33 GMT
Minor update:
c3/libm.tpz: thought I had done this one already. Contains /usr/lib/libhard.a
b1/tcpip.tpz: to replace the corrupt one.
I seem to have run into an inordinate amount of corruption upon
uploading this time. I guess murphys law mandates that since
I have had no trouble to date, my turn had come.
I think all reported problems are now fixed except:
some softlink warning messages (you can ignore these).
Softlinks should only be done by install scripts,
because tar won't overwrite these.
and...
Hard links when installing /usr as a seperate partition.
This one, may have to wait a bit. Just hard links
in /bin to replace with soft links.
Also, I plan to update getty (which is why I moved it to a
seperate package). I used getty_ps 2.04, but some
problem still seems to plague it.
I suspect that from reading some of the postings, that some
people are either:
a) not reading this news group, or
b) not reading my posts, or
c) sending in reports from very slow Post sites.
On the other hand, many great bug reports are appreciated.
