I have a question...

I have set up linux (0.99) so that I can call it via modem. I get the
thing to answer display the Login: and password: but right after
I enter a password the session (remote login session) locks up. Any
clues? This is on a brand new installation from SLS. I'm not a bash
person so please help. I guessing the problem lies in the equiv
of a .cshrc file or something... but the user that I was logging in to
does not have anything in his directory (like a .bashrc or whatever).

If I log in fromthe console everything works so I assume it has
nothgin to do with file permissions or ownerships.
