hi folks,

a some time ago, j got linux from a friend.
well everything works fine!
but there's a problem with my grphics card :
    when killing x11 from the menu (kill) and it returns to textmode
    the only things i can see are vertical stripes at the right (?) side of
    the character field. when pressing buttons the stripe disappears but no
    character is shown!

well,
  so what should i do, should i change some parameters in the config,
  or what else ????

maybe there are some suggestions on the net ??
