Subject: OS/2 2.0 Boot Manager

I am trying to use lilo to put Linux onto a primary partition created
with the OS/2 2.0 fdisk/boot manager combo. The faq says specifically
that I can

  /etc/lilo/lilo -c -b /dev/hda2 -v -v /vmlinux

to put the boot imformation on this partition (/dev/hda2 is where
Linux is installed). But instead, I get some error like partition
doesn't contain valid Linux signature, or something to that effect.

/dev/hda2 is of type 81 and all else is relatively OK. So how
can I do it? Anyone? (And are there any REAL instructions for this
puppy yet?)

Thanks a mil...
  Greg
