The Xega server doesn't seem to be able to use the compressed pcf fonts that
come with the SLS release. Uncompressing the fonts and updating the
fonts.dir files in /usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc and 75dpi directories got it
working for me.
I haven't been able to get it to work in 16 color mode though, xdpyinfo still
only shows that 1 bit plane is used. If someone knows how to get it to
recognize the 4 bits / pixel on my (ancient Trident 8800 ) SVGA card I'd
like to hear about it.
