1. Follow H.J.Lu's instructions to the letter (they were spelled out
in the announcement)
2. Congratulate yourself on a successfull instalation

All mine worked afterwards.

Emacs is exelent for binary editing :). Just make sure you don't
change the length of anything (put something in for all the bytes you
delete, and don't add any bytes). And be sure to keep a backup of the
program >:)
