Subject: Bug in kernel and xdm + questions

I have installed SLS just before christmas and I have found two bugs
- Sometimes, when I boot, the keyboard does not respond. It seems to
be completely random whether this happens or not. Background processes
still run, I once put "(sleep 10;ps xal)&" and it runs fine,
but not even ALT-Fn worked. When the moon is in the correct position :-)
I can log in without problems.
- I have "xdm -nodaemon < /etc/console" in my rc.local and it works
for two sessions. After the second logout the screen goes wild.

I also have two questions:
- The "time" prefix complains and I heard that the solution is to
recompile. Where can I find the sources?
- Some time ago somebody at the University of Glasgow posted an article
that he ported LML, glhc and Gofer to linux. This question is only
for people at dcs.glasgow. I tried download these packages
from ftp.dcs.glasgow.ac.uk but I get the response:

Connected to vanuata.dcs.glasgow.ac.uk.
421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection

How can I get LML, glhc and Gofer for linux, I do not want to
do the porting all over again.

Thanks in advance,
Mark Ramaer
