I have an ethercard driver in ALPHA test that supports the 3c503,
3c503/16, NE2000, NE1000, and 8390-based Cabletron products.

Remember, alpha test means that the driver may crash your machine,
erase your disks, and wash your cat (if your computer is hooked to
your washing machine). You have to know how to make kernels, isolate
bugs, report problems accurately, and fix the bugs for me:->. And
keep a hair dryer handy -- cats don't like being put into the drier.

That said, potential alpha testers can get the README file from
super.org or usra.edu in ~ftp/pub/linux/README.
