Subject: logitech trackball at PS/2 port
Date: 7 Jan 1993 10:48:10 GMT

Hi,
at first, I'm very happy with linux
It was the first and the only reason that I leave a bit my Unix,Ultrix & MAC
environment and I bought a PC (SunRace Notebook 386SX/25 80Mb).

Im running linux 0.99p1 with gcc, X11 ... and everything works fine.
All, but ...

There is only one problem:

Connecting the trackball to the serialport works ( /dev/ttys0 ).

But using the PS/2 Port fails ( I tried nearly everything
/dev/ttys?,/dev/mouse, different baudrates but no succses)

The PS/2 port is not damaged because it works under MESSY-DOS

So what do I do wrong ?

        Thanx for any hint
