Thanks, James, I'll keep that in mind. But if you practice what you
preach (i.e., use your head first), you would have noticed that how to
use tar was only a side issue here. On the other hand, the fact that
the tar man page does not work IS a Linux issue that might be of
interest to more than one person. So is the issue of Seyon in the Linux
environment, judging from some prior posts regarding Seyon.
But I do agree that far too many questions are asked here that have been
answered time and time again. However, not the ones I asked.
