hello, all.

I'm having problems when trying to time a.out. I get a warning telling me
'time using old stat() call. Recompile your binary.' What am I supposed to
recompile?

Tho other problem is that linux returns 'Cannot find user name for UID nnn'
when asked whoami.

any help is greatly appreciated. .
