Or, if you already have a current vgalib, just write a program which uses
vgalib to reset text mode (look at vgatest.c, the last line of main() does
it and your main() need only contain that line). (I called mine "textmode",
although as it turned out my problem wasn't related to this.) Edit "startx"
to run this program after "xinit" is done.
