I have an Internet account at a different site. Before installing Linux, I used DOS with a commm program to logon. Now that I have installed Linux, I used
Kermit and then typed "telnet" then typed" atdt (phone number)". Is this the
proper way to logon to a remote computer.
Also how does TCP/IP work?
